An award winning actor-writer-comedian-content creator and voice artist

If you’re quite old you may remember Pippa as superbitch Elaine Fenwick in CORONATION STREET or Shaz the Aussie waitress, in cult kids series, HANGAR 17 or her debut role in BBC film Z FOR ZACHARIAH.

Other highlights from dozens of BBC films, TV, theatre and radio credits include Michael Palin’s iconic EAST OF IPSWICH, WW2 films AND A NIGHTINGALE SANG and THE DRESSMAKER & Jack Rosenthal’s ESKIMO DAY; several plays directed by Sir Alan Ayckbourn; NOISES OFF and BUS STOP in the West End and DEAD FUNNY at Chichester.

Pippa has been working in the US for some years where she had roles in TOUCH on Fox and in Alex Kurtzman’s feature debut WELCOME TO PEOPLE. She created all-female sketch show LIVE!SEX!GIRLS! at LA Comedy Fest and as a web series and performed stand-up at The Comedy Store main stage and Belly Room & The Improv in LA. She once played Fergie in NBC’s imaginatively titled FERGIE & ANDREW – which was funny but not meant to be. After first writing sketches for TV shows like SMACK THE PONY, Pippa did a screenwriting MA at LCC and has since had several award winning short films produced, film and TV commissions and options on her work in the UK and US. She wrote for two series of the groundbreaking plot-interactive teen drama, SOPHIA’S DIARY (Sony/Bebo and Channel 5) and her latest short, KILLING CHRISTMAS, has won awards for Best International Short at tweetfest, Best Performances at WildSound, Best Holiday Short at LSIFF and been selected for 20 international festivals. Her dark TV comedy MENTAL was just shortlisted for Sister Prods/Olivia Colman’s writer-performer contest and a monolugue from it just published as part of a book for mental health charity MIND. 5′ teaser

Pippa is currently working at The Space Theatre where she recently performed a new monologue, SQUIRRELS.
