Pippa is repped by top UK lit agent Casarotto Ramsay and is based in both London and LA. Her first short film Breaking Out (directed by Oscar winner Marienela Maldonaldo) premiered in competition in Cannes and was chosen for over 20 international festivals, winning Best European short at Angers.
Pippa has had 7 other shorts produced since, including The Other Side by the Rutger Hauer Film Factory.
She wrote 2 series of the groundbreaking UK teen drama Sofia’s Diary for Sony/Bebo, the 1st internet series to go directly onto mainstream network TV – Channel 5 and also wrote sketches for the Emmy/Golden Globe and BAFTA winning all female UK sketch show, Smack The Pony.
Most recently she was commissioned by Landscape Entertainment/eOne to create a 10 hour TV historical drama and her play Killer Christmas was produced in Los Angeles.
One White Crow – a supernatural thriller based on a true story – is in the final 40 the Tracking Board contest and was a finalist in the 2016 PAGE International screen writing contest. It has won or placed in numerous others and was optioned from over 2000 scripts for development funding by Screen Australia and given an LOI by Fox Searchlight.
Pippa has had commissions from RHI/Hallmark and Curious Pictures in NYC to write treatments for a 4 hour fantasy mini-series based on The Little Mermaid and a feature film, respectively.
She has penned several sell-out Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows including her play Destination Elevation which she then performed at the Soho Theatre in London’s West End.
She wrote, directed and produced the live sketch show and web series Live!Sex! Girls!, picked up by StayTuned TV, Babelgum and the App media Network and continues to create content.
Pippa is a graduate of the screenwriting MA at the London College of Communication, has a BA in philosophy and has lectured in screenwriting at London University’s Birkbeck college. She regularly works as a script consultant for independent producers and has produced credits in TV, short film, web series & theatre.
Pippa has 20+ years of lead acting credits in TV/film/theatre and regularly performs live sketch comedy and stand-up.
